I Can't Believe We Made Butter!

Year four enjoyed a fascinating Science lesson about changing states of matter this afternoon by making their own butter using just cream, a jar and a lot of shaking! Mixing air (a gas) with the cream separates the liquid buttermilk from the solid butterfat, creating something you can add to your toast.
