We featured on ITV Calendar for VE day!

To celebrate VE day, our students wrote letters to a WWII veteran, studied famous speeches and poems and discussed what it must be like to be involved in a war. Our focus throughout the day was on unity and the importance of understanding and having respect for one another, empathy for those who lived through war or fought within. At lunch time we had a fish and chips themed picnic and listened to music from the 1940's whilst toasting the King of England and peace.
