Our academy is now closed for the Summer. We look forward to welcoming students back on Wednesday 2 September 2026.

Mission, values and drivers

Mission

Our mission is to provide an exceptional education in a high-performing and inclusive school where every student is known, valued and empowered to thrive. Through strong relationships, high expectations and a culture of belonging, we celebrate diversity, broaden opportunities and remove barriers to success, enabling every young person to achieve their full potential. As part of Dixons Academies Trust, we are committed to overcoming social and educational disadvantage in the communities we serve.

Our vision

At Dixons Manningham Primary, our vision is that every student leaves Year 6 with the knowledge, character and confidence to succeed. We empower our students to achieve excellence, act with integrity, aspire highly and use their talents to make a positive difference in the world.

Our academy sentence

Dixons Manningham Academy ensured that all students were empowered to achieve excellence, demonstrate integrity, and pursue their future with ambition and purpose.

Our students leave school saying: “I have achieved excellence, I demonstrate integrity, and I am ambitious about my future.”

Our values

Our core values of achievement, integrity and unity permeate all that we do. From the moment a student arrives at Dixons Manningham we ask them to live these values.

Achievement

We never give up. We stay positive and keep trying, even when things are difficult.
We take responsibility for our learning and personal growth, and we challenge ourselves to be the very best that we can be.

Integrity

We are honest. We do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.
We make positive choices and help our school and community be the best they can be.

Unity

We are respectful, polite, and kind to others. We work together as a team and help those around us succeed.
We celebrate the similarities and differences that make us unique, and we value everyone in our school community.

Drivers

Every day, we work on our three drivers. These three drivers help us to grow, learn, and succeed every day.

Mastery
We try our best, practise regularly, and keep improving our skills. Just like climbing a mountain, we keep taking small steps to reach our goals and be the best we can be.

Autonomy
We make good choices, take responsibility for our actions, and become independent learners.

Purpose
We care about others, help our community, and work together to make a positive difference in the world.

Why are they important?
When we develop mastery, autonomy, and purpose, we become confident learners who are ready to achieve our goals and help others along the way.
